Herwindy Maria Tedjaatmadja joined Petra Christian University in 2004. She received a scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) at Assumption University, Thailand, from 2004 to 2006, during which she also worked part-time as a language advisor at the British Council Bangkok.

Since 2006, she’s taught Business English and Education, as well as provided English training for academic and professional purposes. Herwindy is an active researcher and has presented at conferences such as Thailand TESOL and Korea TESOL International Conferences. She has also served as a translator for TED Open Translation Project since 2012, and has enrolled in several short courses at Prasetiya Mulya Executive Learning Institute to further develop her managerial skills (2012 & 2018).

Her administrative roles include serving as Secretary of the English Literature Program (2009–2013) and as Head of the Program (2013–2021). She is currently the Head of Petra Language Center (since 2022) and the Director of King Sejong Institute Surabaya (since 2023).

Herwindy shared her research results in various conferences, such as Thailand TESOL and Korea TESOL International Conferences. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling and sports.
