Following her graduation in 2003, Henny was recruited by the Vista International Program to teach TOEFL. In 2004, she joined Petra Christian University and was subsequently granted the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree. During her graduate studies in Thailand, she held the position of Language Advisor at the self-access center of the British Council Bangkok from 2005 to 2006.

Since September 2006, Henny has been a dedicated faculty member at Petra Christian University, teaching a wide range of courses, including Written English, Grammar, Supervision and Leadership in Education, and English for Special Purposes.

Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Henny has facilitated a variety of professional development workshops for faculty members and administrative staff outside the English Literature discipline.

Her research contributions include the presentation of academic papers at prominent conferences across Asia, such as the Thailand TESOL International Conference and the Philippine Association for Language Teaching International Conference.
